Brist is a village and small harbour in the cove of the same name on the coast. It is situated in the extreme south of the Makarska littoral, on the main road Split Dubrovnik, 8 km north of Ploce. Brist is a picturesque place for pleasant and peaceful vacations. Special attractions are olive-groves and sources of potable water, as well as a series of pebble coves. Several late Baroque mansion structures were built close to the sea in the 18th century.
